The terms of Pre and Post COVID could have been written for the transport sector. In today’s even more demanding economic climate, the return to anywhere near full capacity will deliver its own problems. We therefore feel it is important for all fleet managers, to ensure their equipment is operating at optimum condition for service at all times.

At ODJ we can assist you to achieve this objective by providing a condition monitoring service for your lubricating oils, greases and coolants. This involves sampling minimum volumes of liquid at routine service times – this will enable you to build a trending report over a period of time. Any changes such as excessive wear , fuel or water contamination can then be detected at an early stage, enabling swift preventative maintenance before any vehicles are off the road. We test the following;

Engine – Generator or Drive

Transmission – Automatic or Manual

Gearbox – Industrial Gearboxes

Compressor – Refrigeration and Air Compressors

Fuel – Diesel or Petrol

Filters – Fuel or Oil

Hydraulics – Pumps and Pneumatics

Coolant – Recirculation Systems and Antifreeze

Grease – Bearing Compartments

AdBlue – Quality Checking

Through our Lab partner Finning the test results can be accessed through our state of the art Oil Commander software where all data is held and trend analysis can be seen on all your fleet assets. We already support a range of hauliers, service providers and fleet hire companies in optimising the oil drain interval and addressing repairs before they result in costly failures. The resulting reliability improvements support not only cost reduction but improve customer experience and help to reduce environmental impact.
